These mushrooms are named for their soft bulbous appearance; white and fluffy with a beautiful shaggy mane. They have a mild taste and meaty texture, often used as a steak or lobster substitute in plant-based diets.

They have been found to regulate blood sugar, reduce high blood pressure, promote healthy energy levels and combat fatigue, help to prevent excess blood lipid accumulation, and even protect heart, liver and kidney health.

Preparing your Redifarms Lions Mane mushrooms can be a simple as hand shredding them on to a baking tray and bake them in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil and seasoning until cripsy and golden, cutting them into steak like slabs and throwing them on the grill, or this summer is the perfect time to be adventurous and  try our favorite plant-based dinner, Lion's Mane “Crab” Cakes.
