The Plant-Based Main Event! (that will not have you missing the meats)

Welcome to the second installment of our plant-based, exciting, and fresh Redifarms Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and we at Redifarms can hardly wait to share the day with our family and friends; entertaining, reminiscing, and most importantly sharing our favorite holiday plant-based meals. This year instead of carving up the two most popular Thanksgiving traditions; the typical holiday turkey or baked ham, we will be sharing with you two of our tried-and-true main dishes, specifically reserved for the holidays. These dishes will be sure to have your guests not missing the meat!

First up: the turkey. Replacing the bird might seem like an impossible feat for someone who has never tackled the challenge before. Creating a new tradition for the family to get behind is never easy but this crowd-pleasing entrée will have everyone singing your praises by the end of the night. May we present the Redifarms Mushroom Stuffed Non-Turkey Loin. This beautifully prepared entrée will not only not have you feeling that tired tryptophan feeling, but it will also have your taste buds come alive with the flavors of this wonderful plant-based dish.

Next to tackle is the Thanksgiving Honey Baked Ham. The traditional Honey Baked Ham is a crowd favorite but after they try this your family and friends will be applauding all your efforts and you will feel like Champion of the Kitchen. This vegan ham is a meat-free alternative to classic ham, it’s made with celeriac, a root vegetable known as the unsung hero of the vegetable world. Its knobbly, odd-shaped appearance clearly marks it as celeriac. The root has a subtle, celery-like flavor, with nutty overtones that lend to the savory flavors of a traditional Thanksgiving ham.

We hope your Thanksgiving is as successful as our dishes!
Stay tuned for the next and final installment of Thanksgiving dishes.
